A slight downside to having a food blog with a lot of content is that once a recipe has been posted it can get buried deep in the archives never to be seen by the new eyes that come to your site everyday. SO, I decided to do a little ‘recipe round-up’ for those who may not have seen some of my older (and favorite) recipes for the summer. I am leaving out any summer recipes that have gone up in the past 6 months or so, SO if you’re that new then take a look at the past few months in the archives. (warning: some of these featured recipes are super old… and the photos will show it haha). I am thinking about doing this every summer and winter. Hopefully it’s helpful! Anyway, happy summer! Enjoy!

CAMPFIRE CHICKEN WITH ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS, POTATOES, & DILL

This is by far one of my most popular recipes. It may seem super fancy for a camping trip but it’s actually really quite easy and if you are on the road for as long as we were you will need some real food every once in while… let’s be honest canned goods and granola bars get pretty boring after a while. Keep in mind that this recipe can also be done on the BBQ or in the oven at home. Click on the title above or here.

TWO-FISH HAWAIIAN POKE WITH QUINOA & SPICY GREEK YOGURT SAUCE

Oh man do I love this recipe. Definitely a summer MUST. If you have never had poke you are in for a real treat. Click on the title above or here

THAI TURKEY LETTUCE WRAPS

This recipe is, to me, one of the most under-appreciated recipes of mine… I think because I created it so long ago it may have gotten overlooked a bit, but it is truly one of my all-time favorite recipes I have ever made. An Ariza household staple. Anyone who has made it agrees! Super SUPER healthy too! Click on the title above or here

FARRO SALAD WITH SHAVED BRUSSELS SPROUTS, PEPITAS, & FENNEL

I am sharing this recipe not only because it is the perfect summer salad, but because it is a serious crowd pleaser. So many little treasures hidden in it! Click on the title above or here

SHRIMP CEVICHE

This recipe involves a bit of chopping but it is so worth it in the end.  Click on the title above or here

TOMATO BASIL SUMMER PASTA

This one is a big fan favorite as well as a staple in my household since my dude loves it. This dish is also a great vegetarian please-all dish for a party or dinner delivery for a friend. Click on the title above or here

PULLED CHICKEN WITH BOURBON & BROWN SUGAR BBQ SAUCE

Super easy and crazy delicious (not to mention: cooked in the crockpot!), this recipe is always a winner and keep an eye out for an unexpected secret ingredient. I serve it with my RED CABBAGE SLAW WITH SWEET CORN, CILANTRO, & LIME. Click on the title above or here

TEN MINUTE MARINATED MUSHROOMS WITH LEMON & PARSLEY

One of the quickest dishes you will ever throw together and so, so delicious. I’ve turned ‘mushroom-haters’ into ‘finish the bowl-ers’ with this one haha. Click the title above or here

EASY EDAMAME WITH GARLIC, SOY, & LEMON

Another popular one with my readers, this recipe elevates one of your favorite snacks into a flavorful side dish. Click on the title above or here

RAW ASPARAGUS & LEEK SALAD WITH LEMON ANCHOVY DRESSING

Bet you didn’t think raw asparagus could be good… Well let me tell you what, this recipe is one of my all time personal favorites. You HAVE to try it. Click on the title above or here
