This drink is simply a Moscow Mule with a twist. Traditionally, a Moscow Mule is vodka, ginger beer, lemon or lime, and some mint served in a copper mug. MY version uses my homemade grapefruit and basil infused vodka and takes this thing to a whole new level. This is the kind of drink I would pay big bucks for at a restaurant… but better AND way less expensive.

You will need:

BASIL AND GRAPEFRUIT INFUSED VODKA (click here for recipe)

Ginger beer (any good brand you like will do)

Lemon

First, pour 1/3 cup of the infused vodka in a tumbler (or copper mug if you have it!) filled with ice.

Next, pour in about a cup (or more) of ginger beer

Slice your lemons. You can do wedges or discs. I chose discs because they look pretty, but wedges will yield more juice for you.

Squeeze the lemon juice, stir, and enjoy! My ultimate bloody mary is next!

The copper mugs change everything I tell ya, but I got along just fine without them for a while. They were a recent addition to our cupboard.
